Getting started
Prepare an organization and enroll the first pilot device without losing operational evidence.
Before you enroll
Use a dedicated test device that matches a supported production operating system. Confirm that outbound HTTPS can reach the Grydor service and that your change process has an owner for policy approval and rollback.
Create an organization
Sign up with a work email, verify the address, and create the organization. The first administrator is the unique Owner. A Free organization can manage up to 25 devices without a payment method.
Create an enrollment policy
Open Devices, choose Enroll device, and create a policy for macOS or Windows. Grydor returns the secret only once. Store it in an approved secret location before closing the sheet; do not paste it directly into shell history.
Confirm the first device
After installation, wait for the device to appear automatically. Confirm:
- Agent and MDM channels show independent, current timestamps.
- Hardware, operating system, storage, network, and installed-software evidence is present.
- Compliance explains each requirement rather than returning only a summary badge.
- The audit trail records enrollment and subsequent administrator actions.
If the device does not appear, keep the installer log and the Console trace ID. Retrying enrollment with the same one-time secret is not expected to succeed after it has been consumed.
